NDSM-Pier 3 (626 42 47).
Floating 4-deck hotel moored on the north shore of river IJ, so quite a bit of water between you and city center, but there's a free shuttle bus and river ferry service. Though some find it romantic and adventurous, the Botel very much resembles a cross-channel ferry, with the same small cabins and narrow corridors. Nonetheless the rooms are clean and modern, and the riverside rooms have an attractive view.
Rates double €90-€120.
